OCI has been providing Quality Control (QC) consultation to the contractor (HDJV) since 2017 for Phases 1, 2, and 3 at SLC International Airport's reconstruction program. OCI's involvement has been a tremendous benefit as they help the construction team and consultants navigate life safety and structural issues that arise during the planning and installation of reinforced concrete, firestopping and seismic bracing. Their technical expertise and proactive approach has enabled the trade contractors to complete the work correctly in order to remain on schedule and avoid rework or delays. When any quality related problems occurred, OCI efficiently identified the cause, how to correct it, and communicated clearly with applicable team members to bring it to resolution.
